Microsoft has moved forward with its plan to bring Stream and Clipchamp together under a single video platform in Microsoft 365. Clipchamp's powerful editing is now combined with Stream's enterprise capabilities. Everything is presented under the Clipchamp brand. The Clipchamp home page: all your video, in context
One of the first visible changes is the new Clipchamp home page in Microsoft 365. From there, you can access all your video content in the context of your work.

Video playback and creation: branding and improvements
The player experience reflects the Clipchamp identity. The name, the logo and the visual elements have changed. A unification banner has been added to guide the change.
There are also productivity improvements:
- Trimming and sharing by clip. You can trim specific parts of a video and share them as standalone clips. Ideal for highlighting key moments, training teams or documenting decisions.
- Rollout completed by the end of June 2025. These updates were finished during that period.
Microsoft 365 Copilot in Clipchamp
The Clipchamp web player adopts Copilot brand colors and integrates AI capabilities. Copilot can summarize a video or answer questions about its content. It is a shortcut for grasping the essentials without watching all the material.

Other key improvements arriving with the unification
Updated camera, screen and recording.
The camera, screen recorder and capture interfaces adopt the Clipchamp brand. There are new logos, colors and a notification banner. The rollout began in mid-January and was completed by the end of June 2025.
Admin controls for recording.
Administrators will see the "Stream" setting renamed to "Video." From this change onward, they will be able to disable audio, screen and webcam recording. Embeds in Outlook and Teams.
Video embeds have been aligned with the new scheme. In Teams, the summary changes to "View in browser". In Outlook, "Open in browser" appears. The goal is to offer clear, consistent navigation.
Editor export screen.
The "Publish with Microsoft Stream" option is replaced by "View in browser" on the export page. This adjustment simplifies the flow for sharing or downloading.
Changes to Microsoft 365 documentation and web experiences
The brand unification extends to documentation, support and informational pages. The aim is simpler navigation, with proper redirects so existing links are not broken.
